Thank you for your business! To keep your new carving looking fresh, here are a few things you should keep in mind

All chainsaw carvings crack, we believe it adds character.

Do not put your carving on soil or grass. Wood is porous and will absorb water and rot. Instead, try placing your carving on gravel, concrete or pavers to ensure drainage.

Heat from the sun, vent or woodstove will accelerate the cracking process. Be prepared to apply finish it more frequently in these situations, taking special care to seal the new cracks.

We recommend annually reapplying Penofin Ultra Premium Red Label as directed.

If your carving cracks, we offer a repair service or would be happy to recommend some methods to slow or disguise the cracking.
